We wrapped up Period 3 today with a brainstorming session over what you learned from the textbook reading about Washington's administration, followed by an opportunity to illustrate your take on one of the issues in particular with a political cartooning activity. We then discussed Washington's Farewell Address as our DocBlock for the day then finished up the day with a document based analysis and discussion over the Sedition Act passed during John Adams' time as President.
Tomorrow will be your first Exam! It will cover everything we have learned so far this semester, including the material from Chapters 1-8a. You also need to have your binders of day work ready to be graded (the list of required items was posted in yesterday's blog) and you should have you revisions of your Intro and First Body paragraphs to turn in to me as well.
